We are so happy for Evelyn. She was one of the lucky Eagle Wings Junior Grant Winners for 2018. As part of her application, Evelyn was required to share her plans for growing the sport of disc golf. She is excited to conduct a junior disc golf clinic in Melbourne in May and has begun planning the event. Her aim is to share her love for the sport of disc golf and get more juniors in Australia participating either socially or in their local league. More information will be released soon.
It is great to see so many organisations supporting junior disc golf. The grant includes payment of entry fees to the Junior Worlds Disc Golf Championships in Kansas, USA plus a variety of fantastic goods and services provided by the wonderful sponsors who contributed to the Grant scheme. Fundraising has begun to help cover travel and accommodation expenses.
