Chase the Ace!

In an effort to raise travel and accommodation funds for Evelyn’s upcoming trip to the US for Junior World Disc Golf Championships and because we want a good excuse to play more disc golf, we will be hosting a fun disc golf event, supported by RPM Discs New Zealand. Join us for “Chase the Ace”, on Saturday 30th June at Ruffey Lake Park Disc Golf Course in Doncaster from 10am.

Registration for this event will be $30.00.  All registered participants will receive a brand new RPM disc and that disc will be the only disc you are able to use during your round.  You will get one throw only on each hole (unless you buy mulligans) and the aim is of course to get as many aces as possible 🙂  Holes will be shortened and will be between 30m – 50m.   Along the way there may also be some fun challenges.  The person with the most aces at the end of the day will win the major prize of eight RPM discs including 1 Tui, 1 Piwakawaka, 1 Taniwha, 1 Ruru, 1 Kahu, 1 Kahu XG, 1 Kahu OS and 1 Temoko!!!!

If no aces are scored, the winner will be decided by the number of metal (basket or pole) hits achieved during the round.

Lunch and a soft drink or water are included in the entry fee plus we will have some novelty events during the day and a raffle to provide you with more chances to win great prizes.

We encourage you to bring family and friends as this is a fun event for all ages and skill levels.

Registration for this event is essential by Saturday the 16th June so we have time to order discs and for catering purposes.  Please register here.

Remember, this event is open to everyone.  Even if you have never played disc golf before it will be a fun day, plus you get to take home your very own RPM disc.
